#LIVE FROM THE HEART OF EXPERIENCE
The meaning of this phrase that constitutes the subtitle of the book "A Sense to Everything" is as much living from the center of oneself as it is also living from the heart of the experience. Finding that inner space within oneself is the greatest discovery and the most exciting of adventures. It is at the same time a constant learning to know what is our place in life, and from there, move to where we really want to go from our heart. For me it means the same to understand that life and each person is basically the same. To live in the center of experience is to live from the same heart. In this sense, life and love is the same, and if that connection does not exist, we already know that nothing we do has any meaning, both in relationships, as in any daily activity or work.
And then, what is at the center of all experience and within oneself?
In the same way that in the very epicenter of a hurricane there is the most absolute calm, at the center of every experience, no matter how unpleasant, painful or tense, there is a space of presence where the values of calm, beauty and affection. Learning to live from there is the discovery of unconditional love.
It is about taking space of conscience in every decision we make, in every action that life presents us, and knowing that, whatever happens, we always have that space always available at the very center of the experience. A space without time to breathe, to think diligently, to open up to new possibilities, and to be able to fully enjoy every little detail of the experience.
It is from this space of presence where we are creating those perfect conditions so that everything that happens unfolds in a more fluid and energetic way. It does not have to be easy, but when we know how to notice that space more and more, it really does not matter whether it is easy or difficult, as with anything in life that really interests us. We just want to be there. Living from out there we already know what there is, that constant struggle and the consequent wear and tear, the attachments and the suffering, with what we have unfortunately learned to relate what it is to live.
Life does not have to be that. We can really decide at each moment whether to continue as we have been taught until now or learn to live as we really know, from what our own heart tells us, from the heart of the experience.
